Hyde Hall

Built in three sections with the entire mansion complex completed in 1834, each room has unique stories that are best told by candle light. Just a footstep inside of the main entrance and you feel transported back in time. Walk from room to room to lose your sense of the present day and let yourself wonder about all the things that go bump in the night. When you leave, you’ll be planning your next visit back to see this wonderful National Historic Landmark.

“Hyde Hall is one of America’s finest houses that combines the greatest architectural traditions of England and America and the solidity of a frontier dwelling with the grace and delicacy of high-style English country houses. It is also completely documented, contains a great deal of its original furnishings, and is one of the few surviving works of one of America’s great 19th century architects, Phillip Hooker.” –National Register of Historic Places Inventory, HydeHall.org
