About Mohawk Valley Museums
Mohawk Valley Museums came to life while working with the Little Falls Historical Society to expand their website. After learning about all of the work they do to research and share the history of Little Falls, NY, one thing led to another and we became members of the Little Falls Historical Society.
We quickly dove into the Mohawk Valley’s long and rich history appreciating it for the treasure that it is. Along the way, we began learning from local historians, historical societies and museums, and how they work so hard to preserve and share the history of this region. What began as a map to plot all of these wonderful resources so intricately woven into our nation’s history, has become MohawkValleyMuseums.us.
Take your time on the site and explore the history, museums, galleries and genealogical resources throughout the Mohawk Valley. We’re glad you’re here. Also, visit our sister website at MohawkValley.today
