The Mayfield Historical Society will be kicking off the summer season with its 40th Annual Strawberry Festival and premiering its new summer exhibit “School Days” on Saturday, June 10th, from noon to 4 pm at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road in Mayfield, NY.
The Mayfield Historical Society is thrilled to announce the recent acquisition of an 1843 oil painting of Mr. Oliver Rice, the owner and builder of the 1810 Rice Homestead and his 1790 homesteading cabin on Riceville Road in Mayfield, New York.
The Mayfield Historical Society will host a presentation on Native American History and Culture in the Mohawk Valley on Monday, April 17th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 N. Main Street, Mayfield.
The Mayfield Historical Society has announced its upcoming spring and summer events and exhibition which will take place at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road in Mayfield unless otherwise noted.
There will be a general meeting of the Mayfield Historical Society on Monday, March 20th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 North Main Street, Mayfield, NY.

The Mayfield Historical Society was recently a recipient of a very generous grant from the Tim and Tina Delaney Family Foundation for the exterior painting and window glazing of The Rice Homestead which will be accomplished during the summer of 2023.
The Mayfield Historical Society’s Annual Fall Harvest Cruise-In will be held Saturday, October 8th, from noon – 4 at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Rd., Mayfield.
