We’re so excited about the Fulton County Historical Society’s upcoming Virtual Winter Program Series!

The Virtual Winter Program Series kicks off today, January 17, with David Brooks, Education Director at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site, presenting Kilboy Was Here: The Erie Canal Balladeer.

This program offered via Zoom, explores the life of a canal towing company operator along the notorious “Sixteens” of the Erie Canal. Discover the mayhem, graft, and dirty underside of the canal.  Truth will ring out, proving that Kilboy was here! Register today to learn more about what made him notorious.

This program is just the beginning of this fascinating winter series with plenty more coming up in throughout the month of February.
