Beading Workshop with Wilma Zumpano

Join Mohawk artist Wilma Cook Zumpano as she leads you through the steps required to make your own beautiful, beaded strawberry pincushion. During the workshop Wilma will discuss how the strawberry is important to Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) culture and is even involved in the creation story. The workshop is suitable for adults and teens, and hand-sewing experience is helpful but not required. $95 members; $105 non-members (includes materials, but students should bring their own scissors for cutting fabric).
