Unity Hall’s FREE Family Fun Fest

An Afternoon of Entertainment, Activities, Music and Ice Cream!
4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2026

Barneveld – An incredible line-up of family friendly activities is planned for Unity Hall’s FREE Family Fun Fest on Sunday, July 19. It starts at 4:00 in the afternoon with world renowned juggler HILBY – the Skinny German Juggle Boy, and ends with a performance by Savage Friends from 6:30 until 8:00. In between, the Utica Zoomobile brings a presentation with a variety of animals. Throughout the afternoon and evening there will be ice cream sundaes, yard games, face-painting, and cornhole competition, as well as other food and drinks available.

Event starts at 4:00 p.m.

At 4:00 p.m. world renowned performer Hilby starts the event with his extreme circus skills.  Hilby’s hi-jinks and hilarity add to his astounding feats of gravity defying juggling. Riding unicycles of all shapes and sizes, and manipulating objects ranging from bowling balls to hedge trimmers, his technical skill and wacky comedy are not to be missed. Hilby will be back at 6:00 p.m. for the second half of his performance.

At 4:45 p.m. Utica Zoomobile educators present a variety of live Utica Zoo ambassador animals. This extraordinary interactive presentation will be filled with bio-facts about different animal species, and will inspire audience members of all ages.

At 6:30 p.m., closing out Unity Hall’s 2026 Family Fun Fest, the band Savage Friends blends classic rock, blues,and Americana with jam-band energy.  This roots-rock collective built around live performances has great on-stage musical chemistry and command of multiple genres of music. With a lineup that qualifies as a regional supergroup, Savage Friends features John Savage on guitar and vocals, keyboard wizard Robin Stone, superb guitarist John Kelsey, the versatile and entertaining Dan Porter on bass and vocals and the great stickwork of The Big O, Oscar Crandall on drums.

Stewarts Shops is generously providing Ice Cream Sundaes for the event. In addition, guests will be able to purchase burgers and hot dogs served by the Barneveld Fire Department, or popcorn and beverages from Unity Hall. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and relax in the park while enjoying an afternoon of free entertainment at one of the community’s most beautiful gathering places. Please leave pets at home. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
