The Herkimer County Historical Society is pleased to announce a full calendar of engaging spring events that invite community members of all ages to step into history, explore family roots, get hands-on with STEM, and even solve a mystery.
A Revolutionary Murder — A Murder Mystery Dinner
Saturday, April 25 | Doors Open 5:00 PM | Dinner 6:00 PM
As the nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, the Historical Society invites guests to a night of intrigue, history, and suspense. “A Revolutionary Murder” is a live-action murder mystery dinner where guests will become part of the story. A committee is gathering to plan celebrations — but someone knows that murder is on the agenda! Dinner selections will be chosen from the Society’s Home Town Recipes Cookbook.

Build-A-Bridge S.T.E.M. Workshop
Thursday, April 30 | 5:00–7:00 PM
A fun, hands-on activity for young builders! Participants will learn about engineering and design as they build model bridges inspired by historic structures along the Erie Canal.
• For children ages 7 and up
• All children must be accompanied by an adult
