Little Falls, Dec. 4 –Hon. Titus Sheard is in New York on business.

–The Amusement Club, composed of the society-going people of this village, will give their first party on Friday evening next, at Bass’ Dancing Academy. Koehl & Perkins’ Orchestra, of Utica, will furnish the music. It is to be hoped that there will be a sufficient number present to insure their success, for during the past two winters they have been the means of affording much pleasure and enjoyment to our young people.

–Counselor H. A. DeCoster leaves tomorrow morning for his home in Buckfield, Maine, where he will spend a few weeks with his parents. He will then return to this village, where he will undoubtedly open a law office. Mr. DeCoster is a young man who has made a host of friends here, all of whom will unite in extending to him their best wishes for his success wherever he may locate.

–Reports still continue to come concerning the chicken thefts and others now being unearthed in this vicinity. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of seveeral of those engaged in crimes committed.

–Several accidents occurred here to-day by people slipping and falling down while walking upon the streets. Dr. B. E. Bushnell received quite a severe injury to day by falling. He struck upon his head, rendering for some time unconscious. This evening his condition is somewhat improved, although he is confined to his bed.

–A Mr. Dineen, while walking along Main street this afternoon and when in front of James B. Donovan’s store accidentally slipped and fell, fracturing his hip. He was taken into a store and afterwards removed to his home on Furnace street. Dr. Ingham was summoned and reduced the fracture. There were other reports of accidents of a similar nature reported but none of the others received any serious injuries.
