The Old Forge Library, located at 220 Crosby Boulevard, is pleased to host the Town of Webb Historical Association’s Local History and Stories Series on Thursdays throughout the summer at 5:00 p.m.

Each week, the series will feature a different speaker who will deliver a presentation and lead a discussion on a variety of topics related to local and regional history. The public is invited to attend, enjoy the talks, ask questions, and share related information.

Town of Webb Historical Association Director Kate Lewis has organized a diverse roster of speakers for this summer’s programs.

The series begins on Thursday, July 10, with a presentation by Dr. James Shaw titled “Historical Diseases from a Modern Perspective: The Adirondack Experience.”
