Herkimer, NY – May 21, 2024 – The Herkimer Historical Society is delighted to announce its upcoming High Tea Table Decor Event, a celebration honoring the esteemed Jane Spellman. As a tribute to her contributions to our community, the event seeks to showcase creativity, elegance, and historical appreciation through beautifully decorated tables.Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
The event invites sponsors and decorators to adorn tables for judging, with six exciting categories to choose from:
- Elegant: Embrace sophistication and refined taste in your table setting.
- Historical: Pay homage to Herkimer’s rich history with historically inspired decor.
- Patriotic: Display your love for your country with patriotic-themed arrangements.
- Romantic: Create an atmosphere of love and romance with charming table decor.
- World Traveler: Take guests on a journey around the world with culturally diverse decorations.
- Whimsical/Fun: Let your imagination run wild with playful and whimsical table designs.
Participants can select table sizes suitable for their vision:
- 4 place settings on a square 4ft table
- 5-6 place settings on a rectangular 6ft table
