Herkimer, NY – The Herkimer County Historical Society is thrilled to announce a series of exciting events for the month of June. We invite the community to join us in honoring our past, celebrating the arts, and delving into intriguing historical mysteries.
Celebration in Honor of Jane Spellman
- Date: Sunday, June 9, 2024
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Herkimer VFW, 129 Mohawk Street, Herkimer, NY
- Details: Join us in honoring our former Executive Director, Jane Spellman. This event is a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to Jane’s contributions to the Society and the community.
- Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at the door
Watercolor Painting Class with Vicki Ferrusi
- Date: Monday, June 10, 2024
- Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
- Details: Explore your artistic side with a watercolor painting class led by instructor Vicki Ferrusi. All supplies are provided.

Cheryl Pula Presents “The Story of D. B. Cooper: The Unsolved Hijacking”

- Details: Join us for a fascinating presentation by Cheryl Pula as she delves into the mystery of D. B. Cooper and the unsolved hijacking.
