Dan Berggren to Perform Live in Utica — An Evening of Music, Community, and Meaning

[Utica, NY — September 8, 2025] Beloved Adirondack folk singer Dan Berggren will perform live at The Unitarian Universalist Church of Utica (UU Utica) on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Known for his heartfelt songs rooted in community, environmental stewardship, and social justice, Berggren invites audiences to an evening of music that uplifts, inspires, and connects.

“There is just something about Dan that creates that space we want to be in — where the air and water are clean and fresh, neighbors know each other, people are kind, and the ancestors are honored,” says Sarah Craig, Executive Director of Caffè Lena.

A 2025 inductee into the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards Hall of Fame, Berggren draws from deep Adirondack roots and decades of storytelling. His music — featured on PBS, NPR, and stages nationwide — blends tradition and lived experience into performances that resonate deeply with audiences of all ages.

This special concert is the second event in the three month commemoration of The Unitarian Universalist Church of Utica’s Bicentennial. UU Utica is an historic congregation founded on November 21, 1825 during the early days of the Erie Canal.

The event is open to all and welcomes everyone, whether you’re a long-time fan, new to Berggren’s music, or simply looking for an evening of meaning and connection. Dan will also return the following morning to participate in UU Utica’s worship service at 10:30 AM.
