Bookganza event at Schoharie Crossing
Fort Hunter, NY – Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site will hold a “Bookganza” event on Saturday, May 23rd starting at 11am and running until 2pm outside of their Visitor Center and Museum on Schoharie Street in Fort Hunter.
“Bookganza” is a used book swap program to celebrate Little Free Library week. This book exchange is an informal way to pass along or pick up new to you used books. Bring your boxes of exchangeable books to share with others. Swap out some of your most treasured literary works for new undiscovered favorites. This is a great way to re-stock Little Free Libraries, introduce you to new authors, share hand me ups/hand me downs for children’s books, and socialize with others.
This family friendly program is free and open to the public. Moderate to heavy rain, or windy conditions will move the event into the Enders House, adjacent to the Visitor Center. For more information, please call the Visitor Center: 518-829-7516 or email SchoharieCrossing@parks.ny.gov.
