Herkimer Home Ghost Tours

As the breezes get cooler, and fall is around the corner Herkimer Home invites you to this year’s Ghost Tours!

We are happy to announce the return of our annual Herkimer Home Ghost Tours on September 20th, 2025! Join us and our friends from the Central New York Ghost Hunters for a night full of paranormal investigation at Herkimer Home State Historic Site.

What to expect

Guests will join in on the hunt across multiple locations onsite as they search for evidence of ghostly activity throughout our historic grounds chock full of centuries of memories, historical events, and quite possibly… those who have never left! Guests will be greeted by members of the ghost hunting team for an orientation and presentation of their evidence collection right here on our grounds before heading out on a series of ghost hunting sessions. Following the orientation, costumed interpreters leading the way with lantern light will escort guests to each station as you join in and work with our ghost hunters in our root cellar, historic mansion, and cemetery.

Tour Slots

Tours slots are available from 7pm to 10pm with groups leaving every half hour. Maximum of 15 guests per group and prior reservations are a must! Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours and portions of the tour may be outside, so we encourage you to dress for the weather.

Admission is $20 per person.
