2024 PATRIOTS DAY EVENT AT 1824 BELLINGER HOME
Saturday, May 18, beginning at 11 a.m.
The Little Falls Historical Society will co-host a Saturday, May 18, Patriots Day observance program outside the historic home of Tom Overman and Mary Ellen McGillan beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tom and Mary Ellen’s home was built and completed in 1824 by John Bellinger.
The rain date for this event is Sunday May 19 at 11:00 a.m.
This event, marking the bicentennial of this historic structure, will include a number of short historic addresses by various Historical Society members, the laying of a Daughters of the American Revolution wreath, time-period musical pieces, and the playing of “Taps.”
The event is free and open to the public. The limestone building is located off the right side of East Monroe Street just past Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility.
Please bring your own chairs. Free water will be provided.
